James Harden gets elbowed in face by "Metta World Peace"

On April 21st, 2012 The Los Angeles Lakers defeated The Oklahoma City Thunder 114-106, but that was not the real story line. In the second quarter "Metta World Peace" (formerly known as Ron Artest) didn't have much peace with James Harden that night. Metta drove down the lane and dunked over Kevin Durant on a fast break (This would've been a great play if he hadn't done his big celebration) Then while celebrating he punched his chest and then violently elbowed James Harden in the face. This caused James to have a concussion and sit out the next game due to injury. Even though James Harden is a pretty hardy and tough player, this hit still left him on the ground. He was then suspended for 7 games. Even though this is only a partial part of a huge season, it seems like its the biggest thing ever. Then the NBA's commissioner responded by saying "We remain committed to taking necessary measures to protect the safety of NBA players, including the imposition of appropriate penalties for players with a history of on-court altercations."  This is the man who has been in many fights, he thanked his psychiatrist after the Lakers won the championship, he's the one who changed his name to Metta World Peace. What kind of name is that? So we know he is crazy, but this incident is insane even for a crazy man. He pleads his case saying he was just fist bumping his chest and James Harden just was in the way, and the entire thing was just a wrong place, wrong time thing. Nobody buys that story. If you don't think so have a look for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scqitXx-bkE&feature=related&safe=active
